Production
NMN converts directly to NAD+ via NMNAT enzymes. The 500 mg dose elevated blood NAD+ approximately 75 percent over placebo in published trials.
Preservation
CD38 is the enzyme that drives most age-related NAD+ decline. Its expression rises with age and inflammation. Apigenin supports healthy CD38 activity, slowing the enzymatic consumption of the NAD+ pool.
